Legacy Software Modernization in Miami
I’m based in Miami and help small and mid-sized businesses in Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach counties improve the older applications they still depend on. I don't recommend a risky full rewrite. I review the codebase, find where the real problems are, and improve the application in small, tested steps while your team keeps using it.
That can include upgrading older .NET Framework applications to current .NET, adding automated tests around the parts that break most often, connecting an older system to newer tools and services, and fixing slow or unreliable areas. Along the way, I document how the application works, so that knowledge isn’t held by just one or two people.
With 20+ years as a hands-on software engineer across legacy and modern systems, I most recently served as Technical Lead at S&P Global, a Fortune 500 company, where I led enterprise software and data management on AWS. You can read more about my background.
